5 benefits of toasting
Thanks to the high biological value of proteins, vitamins, fats and minerals contained in beans, soybean is an exceptionally interesting legume both for animal and human nutrition.
By raw product, it is a matter of eliminating those antinutritional elements that hinder the assimilation of the nutritional elements.
The toasting process therefore allows us to:
- make the soya more appetizing to the animal
- minimize trypsin inhibitors that interfere with protein digestion
- increase the bypass proteins
- do not affect the fat and vitamins content
- make the animals stronger and healthier
Our roasters are designed for providing a delicate, homogeneous and rapid treatment of any type of cereal (soybean, faves, sorghum, maize...).
The product to be treated is loaded in the loading hopper and it is fed inside the roaster by means of a rotary valve. The chain conveyor delicately leads the grains from the inlet to the outlet of the machine while they are rosated by hot air passing through them.
Based on the different needs, the heating power can be provided by either diesel, gas or LPG professional burners. In order to increase the efficiency of the machine and for reducing the power consumption, the hot air coming out from the machine is recovered for pre-heating the process air.
The roasting process is automatized by using inverters and it is controlled by a network of sensors which allows to optimize the roasting process and to safely intervene in case of emergency.
examples of use
Our family traditions carry an anthology of adventures related to the agricultural world and all these stories together with the daily dialogue with the end users of our machines have contributed to develope efficient and functional solutions, for embracing the most different roasting needs. Some examples are mobile and stationary roasting plants, more or less complex, roasters in stainless steel equipped with heat exchangers.
