Mecmar dryer unloading phase: an alternative for every need<\/h3>\n

In order to meet the needs of all its customers<\/strong>, Mecmar identifies the system which best suits the size and unloading requirements of each company.<\/p>\n

Let us now take a look at the three possible unloading<\/strong> methods<\/strong> proposed by Mecmar.<\/p>\n

#1. Discharge from above\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In this case, it is possible to rotate the head of the system<\/strong> and then unload the dried crop from the right or the left, depending on specific needs.<\/p>\n

In this case, unloading can be done 360\u00b0 around the machine. In addition, the latter is manual, with the advantages of ease of use and maintenance<\/strong>. For this type of unloading the tube and the auger are longer, therefore, the fall height of the grain increases<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

#2. Dual exhaust through the cylinder<\/span><\/p>\n

This is the most flexible<\/strong> solution<\/strong> and is appreciated<\/strong> by Mecmar customers. It is excellent if it is not clear where the conveyor will be positioned, whether to the right or left of the installation.<\/p>\n

It is also possible to install the dryer<\/strong> in such a way as to be able to unload the product inside a warehouse<\/strong>, so that it is not necessary to move the machine. In this way, maximum flexibility, reliability and efficiency of the plant is always guaranteed.<\/p>\n

The double screen unloading system is perfect if you also wish to increase the level of automation in your company<\/strong>. In fact, you can mount a mechanism that allows you to unload the dryer automatically<\/strong> when the cooling phase is complete.<\/p>\n

The advantages of this system are undoubtedly its ease of use<\/strong>, the lower overall height<\/strong> of the machine compared to single unloading from above and the lower height at which the grain falls<\/strong> from the top.<\/p>\n

By suitably positioning the dryer next to a warehouse, it is possible to use the machine so that it unloads into the warehouse on one side<\/strong> and can unload onto a wagon on the other.<\/p>\n

#3 Electric unloading with auger from above<\/span><\/p>\n

For several years now, in addition to the standard alternatives of top discharge or double discharge, the alternative of electrically discharging from the top using an auger has been offered<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This system requires electricity<\/strong> to operate and has the considerable advantage that it can be integrated into an automatic discharge management system<\/strong>. Moreover, with this system, the unloading point of the dried grain maintains a high height<\/strong>, without having to raise the footprint of the machine.<\/p>\n

The discharge can be oriented 360 \u00b0C\u00a0<\/strong>around the machine so that it can be turned in any direction to connect to other mechanisation systems<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

By opting for an electrically operated agricultural dryer<\/a>, once the system has completed its drying cycle, the unloading phase can be automated. The machine<\/strong> thus becomes<\/strong> independentof<\/strong> the<\/strong> operator<\/strong>, emptying the plant automatically. So, not only does this system leave the exhaust area cleaner<\/strong>, but, when compared to the previous two exhaust modes, it also requires less supervision to operate.<\/p>\n

It should be noted that this unloading system can be integrated with the previous ones<\/strong>, so in some cases, hybrid<\/strong> alternatives<\/strong> are opted for between unloading auger and double net unloading, whereby one or two cylinder unloaders are added to the unloading auger.<\/p>\n

How to further improve the drying process of your cereals?<\/h3>\n

This is where the cooling phase comes in. To improve the efficiency of the cereal drying process, it is possible to cool the cereal outside the dryer<\/strong>. In this case, it is preferable to use a silo equipped with a system capable of cooling the grain. This optimises the drying cycle and maximises the power of your dryer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

If your farm has an old stationary dryer, you can use this for the cooling phase. This way, you do not incur any additional costs. Instead, you can use the existing facility to cool the dried product at the outlet<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
