About Us
Mecmar company today is a point of reference in the production of mobile and tower dryers and roasters for cereals, which it has been dealing with for a very long time. Since the beginning, Mecmar crossed national borders to enter the global market: nowadays, Mecmar machines arrive not only in numerous European countries but also overseas.
Constantly focusing on research and innovation, Mecmar designs and manufactures machines always more advanced that can optimally respond to the most varied drying and heat treatment needs of cereals.
Our History
Mecmar S.p.a. was born more than forty years ago as a small family business in Pressana, in the province of Verona. However, the history of the company has its roots long before, even in the early twentieth century. It is from here that the ancient family agricultural tradition originated: first as farmers, then subcontractors and, finally, mechanics at the service of agriculture.
The strong passion for the sector is revealed since the first day of activity as the central driving point of the company and, still today, it represents the common thread for all those who, over time, have joined it. This passion, handed down from generation to generation and combined with having lived firsthand the needs of those who work the soil, acts as a glue and guarantees continuity by constantly guiding Mecmar towards production improvements and important international markets.
Since the late 70s, Mecmar manufactures grain dryers, toasting, cooking and heating ovens, continuous coolers for granular products and special systems for specific needs. Mecmar products are highly appreciated for their reliability, endurance and technical innovation, qualities that represent only some of the company’s strengths. Safety and continuous research are to more plus of Mecmar, caring to its workers as well as to its customers.
For Mecmar, it is essential to stay alongside farmers, to truly understand their needs and be able to produce effective and qualitative solutions. Furthermore, this also allows to make conscious choices and aimed at environmental sustainability: the Mecmar establishment, in fact, is completely self-sufficient from an energy point of view, thanks to a system of solar panels.
